Investigators are asking the public to help identify a male suspect who robbed an Ajax bank recently.
On Thursday, February 24, 2011 at approximately 2:44 p.m., a lone male entered the TD Canada Trust branch on Bayly Street West in Ajax and passed a note to the teller, demanding money. No weapon was seen.
A small quantity of money was handed over and the suspect left the branch, heading in an unknown direction.
The suspect is described as a male, black, in his 40s, about 5’7” tall, medium height, wearing a light-coloured baseball cap with a horned logo on the front, a two-tone beige checkered parka, baggy blue jeans and white running shoes.
Anyone with new information about this investigation is asked to contact D/Cst. Airey of the Robbery Unit at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 5365.
