  Help Police Locate Stolen Rings

Durham Regional Police are investigating after a residential break and enter occurred in the Thornton Road and Dryden Boulevard area of Whitby

Officers were called to the area on Monday May 2, 2011 at approximately 12:20 p.m. after homeowners returned to find their front door had been damaged and the home entered. A number of items were missing including several championship Toronto Rock sports rings.

Two other attempted break and enters were also reported in the same area. A lone male suspect was seen in the area at the time and is described as: male, white, about 5’7” with a medium build.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Cst. McConnell of Central East Criminal Investigative Bureau at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 2740. Anonymous tips can be made to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or www.durhamregionalcrimestoppers.ca and tipsters may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
