  DRPS Youth and Diversity Forum

On October 21, 2011, Durham Regional Police, in partnership with local youth, will be hosting the First Annual Youth and Diversity Forum at J. Clark Richardson Collegiate and Notre Dame Catholic High School in Ajax.

The event will focus on our local youth and is jam-packed with information, dialogue and breakout sessions with officers to facilitate opportunities for information exchange. A youth talent show is also scheduled to showcase and highlight local talent. Refreshments and pizza will be served to the participants.

The overall focus of this first annual Youth and Diversity Forum will be to discuss how Durham Regional Police can serve the community better and what the community needs us to do to ensure their continued confidence and trust.

Local youth are encouraged to RSVP to with their full name along with any questions they have before the deadline of Wednesday October 19th. This free event is limited to the first 100 registered participants. Students will be credited with community service hours for their participation.

WHAT: First Annual Youth and Diversity Forum

WHEN: Friday October 21, 2011, 7-10 p.m.

WHERE: J. Clark Richardson Collegiate and Notre Dame Catholic High School, both located at 1355 Harwood Avenue North in Ajax. The forum will take place in the main auditorium and cafeteria.
