Aug 01, 2012 13:39 ET

Durham Regional Police investigators need the public’s assistance in locating a 29-year-old Ajax man who has been missing for three weeks.

Warfa YUSUF, age 29, has not been seen since Tuesday July 10, 2012 in Ajax and his family is concerned as to his whereabouts. It is unusual for him to be away so long without communicating with friends and family.

He is described as:
• He is of Somalian descent
• 5’11” tall (180 cm), approximately 205 lbs (93 kg)
• He has short black hair and brown eyes
• He was last seen wearing blue long shorts and a white T-shirt.

Investigators believe YUSUF could be in Alberta, specifically the City of Calgary or the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo.

Anyone with any information that might assist investigators is asked to contact Det. Pat Waters of Durham Regional Police Service West Division Criminal Investigations Bureau at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 2534.

Anonymous tips can be made to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or on the website at www.durhamregionalcrimestoppers.ca and tipsters are eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000
