  Help Police Identify Theft Suspects

DRPS is looking to identify two suspects responsible for numerous thefts from drug stores in the Whitby and Oshawa area, as well as the GTA.

Between June 21, 2012 and August 25, 2012, two unknown suspects visited the Loblaws Superstore and made their way to the child care product section and selected a box of baby diapers. The diapers are discarded and the suspects utilize the emptied box to conceal personal care items such as polysporin, electric toothbrushes and electric shavers and exit the store. During this time, the total loss of products is estimated at over $10,000.

Suspect #1 is described as: female, with light tanned skin, possibly of Asian descent, 5’3”, 125-135 lbs, with a slim build, short dark hair, wearing sunglasses, a yellow jacket with grey stripes on the arms and black pants.

Suspect #2 is described as: male, possibly East Indian with an average build, 5’9”,
170-180 lbs and short black hair with long sideburns, wearing a blue and white t-shirt or white button up shirt, black pants and black shoes.

Anonymous tips can be made to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or www.durhamregionalcrimestoppers.ca and tipsters may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000
