The Durham Regional Police Services Board is holding town hall community consultations in November to help shape the strategic direction of the Durham Regional Police Service.
We invite you to participate in a town hall consultation to offer your insights and views of how to improve community safety and service delivery. Your input will contribute to the development of the DRPS 2014 – 2016 Business Plan.

Police Service Boards in Ontario are required by law to have multi-year business plans. The DRPS operates within a three-year planning cycle to deliver our statutory core functions of crime prevention, law enforcement, assistance to victims, public order maintenance and emergency response to calls for service. We want to exceed those core components and work with all members of our community to truly have the safest community to live, work and play.
Participation in a town hall consultation helps us to understand your vision for community safety in Durham Region. Your feedback helps to ensure that our police service delivery is as effective as possible and in line with community safety needs.
