  Crime Prevention Week Begins

Crime Prevention Week has kicked off in Durham Region at the Pickering Town Centre starting Monday November 5, 2012.

From November 5 – 9, 2012, Durham Regional Police will support Crime Prevention Week with a display in the Pickering Town Centre, lower level at the north side entrance. The display will consist of various crime prevention tools and tips on how to prevent crime in our neighbourhoods and around the home.

Everyone is welcome to come out and view the display which will remain at this location daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Officers and police volunteers are available to answer your questions and residents are encouraged to come by and discuss any concerns you may have and to pick up some informational brochures
