  Help Identify This Break and Enter Suspect

Durham Regional Police have an image of a suspect in a Whitby break and enter, and are appealing for the public’s help in identifying the man involved.

On Tuesday, February 5, 2013, a male suspect smashed a basement window and entered a home on Ironwood Court in Whitby. He ransacked the residence and stole a number of items, including computers, jewelry, rare coins and cash.

A home security system captured an image of the suspect. He is described as male, white, medium build, 5’11” tall, wearing a black toque, black jacket with white vertical stripes and dark pants.

Anyone with any new information to this investigation is asked to contact D/Cst. Ryan Rayner of Central West Division at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 1854.

Anonymous tips can be made to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or on the website at www.durhamregionalcrimestoppers.ca and tipsters are eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
