  DRPS Remembers

Members of the Durham Regional Police were proud to participate in Remembrance Day ceremonies across Durham Region Nov. 11th and salute those brave men and women who have served our country and continue to serve our country.

Members of the service participated at community ceremonies in local municipalities to honour the brave men and women who have served this country in conflicts, past and present.

Officers participated in Remembrance Day events in Port Perry, Pickering, Uxbridge, Beaverton, Newcastle, Bowmanville, Oshawa, Whitby and Ajax. Chief Constable Mike Ewles attended the ceremony at Camp X, Deputy Chief Scott Burns attended the ceremony at the Byron Street Legion in Whitby and Deputy Chief Paul Martin represented the DRPS in Beaverton.
