DRPS Inspector Rolf Kluem and Cst. Marten Wind are proud to sit on the newly formed Safe Communities Committee in Clarington. The committee will be holding three information sessions called “Let’s Talk” in the coming week to introduce themselves to the residents of Clarington and to ask for feedback. The Safe Communities Committee in Clarington will be focused on community engagement and the group aims to encourage residents to take an active role in caring about their community. Clarington Emergency and Fire, The Firehouse and the Municipality of Clarington are also a part of the committee.
Session #1: November 26 at 6 p.m. at Newcastle and District Recreational Complex.
Session #2: December 2 at 6 p.m. at Garnet B. Rickard Recreational Complex.
Session #3: December 5 at 6 p.m. at Courtice Community Centre.
Cst. Wind will be facilitating these information sessions, which are open to everyone in the community.
