Jan 08, 2014 12:04 ET

The duties of a police officer are both challenging and rewarding. The physical component of becoming an officer can be rigorous especially for females. Only 50 per cent of females pass the test on the first try, while 90 per cent of males pass.

To assist females interested with this portion of the application process, we are offering the following FEMALE ONLY Practice PREP Session:

Date: Thursday, February 27, 2014 (6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.)

Location: Durham College Athletic Complex
2000 Simcoe Street North
Oshawa, Ontario
($2 parking fee is in effect at the location)

Please note: For those participating, please avoid smoking, alcohol, vigorous exercising and consuming coffee, energy drinks or any other beverages containing caffeine 24 hours prior to attending session, as this may affect your blood pressure readings and prohibit you from participating.

Space is limited for this session, only one practice prep per person.

Please register by email at: recruiting@drps.ca. We will send an email confirming your status as registered or on waiting list.
