DRP is Pumped Up for Heart Health

Jun 12, 2014 08:01 ET

At DRPS we go like to big or go home! DRP teamed up with Durham Region for the Heart and Stroke Foundation’s Big Bike Ride event.

Following a brief tambourine and flamingo filled warm-up DRPS personnel, including members of the HR unit, Youth in Policing unit, Sgt. Emmy Iheme and Deputy Chief Scott Burns pumped up to some favourite tunes to ride The Heart and Stroke Foundation’s Big Bike. They made two laps around the Whitby Entertainment Centrum Plaza cheerfully yelling “hip hip, HOORAY!” with retired Chief Mike Ewles leading the charge.

Together we raised $905.00 for the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Way to go team!
