The Durham Regional Police Service is seeking an outstanding business leader to assume the responsibility of Manager, Fleet and Quartermaster.
DRPS delivers police services to more than 650,000 residents with over 1100 members and a budget of $180 million.
The Manager, Fleet and Quartermaster is responsible for financial planning, purchasing, business contracts and spending control for a fleet of 385 vehicles and purchasing of uniforms and equipment to properly equip members with a total budget of $10 million.
The ideal candidate will have at least ten years leadership experience in fleet and purchasing management roles, a related University Bachelor's Degree, as well as excellent communication, judgement, interpersonal and team building skills. The position is covered by the Senior Officers Collective Bargaining Agreement.
