Crime Prevention Week has kicked off in Durham Region at the Pickering Town Centre starting today and running until November 7, 2015.

Durham Regional Police is supporting the provincial Crime Prevention Week initiative with a display in the Pickering Town Centre, main level (just above the food court, outside H&M). The display will consist of various crime prevention tools and tips on how to prevent crime in our neighbourhoods and around the home. Everyone is welcome to come out and view the display which will remain at this location daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Officers and police volunteers are available to answer your questions and residents are encouraged to come by and discuss any concerns you may have and to pick up some informational brochures

For more information regarding the event, please contact Cst. Paul Hawrychuk or Cst. Corey Walsh at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 1775.
