  Female Prep Session Coming Up

The duties of a police officer are both challenging and rewarding. The physical component of becoming an officer can be rigorous especially for females. Only 50 per cent of females pass the test on the first try, while 90 per cent of males pass.

To assist females interested with this portion of the application process, we are offering the following FEMALE ONLY Practice PREP information and Prep sessions:

When: Sunday March 20, 2016 (12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.) Information Session - Durham College Room F126
Sunday March 20, 2016 (2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.) Prep Session - Durham College Athletic Complex
2000 Simcoe Street North
Oshawa, Ontario
(There is a parking fee)

Please note: For those participating, please avoid smoking, alcohol, vigorous exercising and consuming coffee, energy drinks or any other beverages containing caffeine 24 hours prior to attending session, as this may affect your blood pressure readings and prohibit you from participating.

Space is limited for this session, only one practice prep per person.

To register, please log onto the Careers area of our website and register by applying for the Female Only Practice PREP Session. A resume is not required however please ensure you complete all questions. If you do not have a DRPS account, one will need to be created prior to completing the registration process.
