  The DRPS Auxiliary Unit is Recruiting!

The DRPS Auxiliary Unit is now accepting applications for new volunteer members.

Are you prepared to work alongside members of the Durham Regional Police Service to help keep our community a safe place to live, work and play?

Founded in 1977, the Auxiliary Unit is comprised of citizens who are interested in contributing to their community by providing support and working alongside the DRPS officers.

Auxiliary officers, upon the completion of basic training, assist with routine car and foot patrols, as well as providing support for local community initiatives, such as festivals, fairs or parades.

Are You Prepared To Meet The Challenge?

*To work alongside members of the Durham Regional Police Service and the community
*To work with members who pride themselves on maintaining high standards
*To commit the necessary time and effort required to be an Auxiliary officer
*To be a volunteer
