  DRPS Marched With Pride

Jun 05, 2017 12:55 ET

Rainbows coloured Oshawa's overcast skies on Sunday afternoon for Pride Durham's premier events, the Pride March and the Pride Durham Festival, which started at the corner of King Street and Queen Street.

DRPS members walked alongside community groups and individual participants in the Pride March followed by Pride Festival celebrations at Memorial Park Oshawa, including officers at the DRPS recruiting booth.

The DRPS is a long-standing supporter of the Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual, Transgender and Questioning (LGBTQ) community and is proud to be a part of the annual festivities.

Both events celebrates the diversity of the LGBTQ communities and is an opportunity for people of all ages to come together in a safe and welcoming environment.

Pride Durham is a non-profit organization that celebrates the LGBTQ community and hosts Pride and social events in Durham Region.
