DRPS Supports Bell's "Let's Talk Day"

Jan 31, 2018 08:09 ET

January 31, 2018 is Bell's annual "Let's Talk Day" in support of mental health, and DRPS is supporting the initiative on our social media channels.

Bell Let's Talk is a multi-year charitable program that is dedicated to the promotion and support of mental health. Since the program started in 2010 Bell has committed to donate at least $100 million. The donations are used to support a wide range of mental health organizations, large and small, from coast to coast focusing on anti-stigma, care and access, workplace mental health and research.

"Let's Talk" has provided the following simple ways to end the stigma and start the conversation about mental health:

1. Language Matters
2. Educate Yourself
3. Be Kind
4. Listen
5. Ask

Everyone is encouraged to start a conversation today, 2018 as "One kind word can change someone"s entire day."

Bell will donate 5 cents towards mental health initiatives every time someone:

- Watches the Bell Let"s Talk Day Video on Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat
- Tweets using #BellLetsTalk
- Uses the Bell Let"s Talk Facebook Frame
- Uses the Bell Let"s Talk Filter on Snapchat
- Calls or texts from a Bell customer

You can check out more information about the "Let"s Talk" Program on their website here , Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram pages. DRPS will be supporting the initiative on our Twitter page.
