  Durham Officer Graduates from Prestigious Police Leadership Program

A Durham Regional Police officer is among the graduates of a prestigious MBA-style course in Police Leadership at the University of Toronto.

Superintendent Ian Wootton of the Durham Regional Police Service is one of 24 senior officers from 15 police services across Ontario who graduated from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, on Friday May 03rd, 2002.

The Police Leadership Program is a partnership between the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police and the Rotman School. The curriculum is specially designed to prepare experienced police officers for senior leadership roles in police departments.

Superintendent Wootton is a 23-year member of the Durham Regional Police Service who is currently in charge of Administration Support Services.
