  DRPS Celebrate Police Week

May 15, 2002 09:26 ET

Officers from the Durham Regional Police Service are celebrating National Police Week through a collection of information displays at the Oshawa Centre. Officers from the O.P.P., the Canadian Coast Guard and volunteer groups such as Road Watch, OVERT and the Car Safety Seat Committee have joined with displays of their own to share valuable information with the public.

The public is invited to ask questions about police equipment, take a photo on the police motorcycle and look at the police cruisers inside the mall. The mall displays are located in front of the Old Navy Store and will be there everyday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. until Friday, May 17th, 2002.
