Are you interested in a career in policing? The duties of a police officer are both challenging and rewarding. The Durham Regional Police Service is seeking individuals who will bring unique experience to our community.

If you are passionate about fairness and equality, have outstanding moral character and want to have an amazing career that truly makes a difference, we want you to consider a career with the Durham Regional Police Service.

Given the overwhelming interest in policing we are hosting an informative and interactive Constable Information Session. Attendees will learn about the applicant process, Ontario Police College, training and the overall requirements for the constable position. There will also be recruiters present as a resource for members of the public.

For further information about policing as a career, join us at the following Constable Information Session:

Date: Wednesday, August 15, 2018, from 6:30 p.m.
Location: 605 Rossland Rd, Whitby in room LLC on the lower level.

Space is limited. Please register and confirm your spot by visiting the career section of our website here.

A resume is not required, however, please ensure you complete all questions. If you do not have a DRPS account, one will need to be created prior to completing the registration process. If you have any further questions regarding the Constable Information Session or registration process, please contact us at recruiting@drps.ca.

Watch our recruiting videos here. The video series takes a dramatic new approach to police recruiting and puts a strong emphasis on building human connections and protecting the most vulnerable people in our society. Each installment of "You Can Make a Difference Here... We're Looking for People like You" explores an important theme and priority for the DRPS and our members.
