A female suspect attended several branches of the Bank of Montreal in Ajax and Whitby with counterfeit identification and received funds last week. Images of the suspect are available on our website.
On Thursday February 5, 2009, a lone female suspect attended several branches of the Bank of Montreal in Ajax and Whitby and received funds through fraudulent transactions. The female was in possession of several pieces of counterfeit identification in the name of a true victim of identity theft. The suspect made cash advances on the counterfeit credit card using falsified identification to support this transaction.
Suspect described as: female, white, 5’ 6”; with brown shoulder length hair; brown eyes and poor teeth.
Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
