  Can You Help Identify These Two Fraud Suspects?

Police are appealing to the public for their assistance in identifying two female suspects wanted in connection with a fraud incident that occurred at the Best Buy store in Ajax.

On Monday, January 14, 2013, at approximately 6 p.m., two females entered the Keg Restaurant in Ajax and strategically seated themselves in the dining room, directly behind the victim who was part of a large group.

The victim's purse was situated on the ground beside her. One of the suspects leaned over and removed her wallet from the purse. Both suspects left the restaurant when confronted by staff regarding the suspects seating themselves.

Approximately 20 minutes later, both suspects attended the Best Buy store located at 20 Kingston Rd. W., where they made three purchases totaling over $4,000 using the victim's credit card. A second attempt to purchase items totaling $1,600 was made at the Staples in Ajax, however, the purchase was declined by the victim's bank.

Suspects are described as female, Asian, perhaps Pilipino, long dark hair, mid 20s to mid 30s, one with a heavy build, the other with a medium build,

Both suspects were seen getting into a newer model Ford pick-up, gold in colour.
