Following a lengthy and thorough investigation, police are appealing to the public to help to identify a male found deceased near an Oshawa park in March.
On March 14, 2012, two hikers discovered a deceased person in a wooded area northeast of Knights of Columbus Park in Oshawa. It appears the body had been there for some time and foul play is not suspected. A review of all documented missing persons in the Province of Ontario has failed to identify the deceased.
A lengthy and thorough investigation has failed to identify the deceased, who had no identification on his person. A computer enhanced digital image of the male is attached.
The male victim is described as: male, white, between 20-40 years old, approximately 5’9”, 225 lbs, with medium brown hair, teeth in good condition and wearing a red jacket, black sweatshirt, green pants, long underwear, socks and construction-type boots.
