Unsolved Homicide/Cold Cases


  Shon HART Homicide

On Sunday July 2, 2006, 31-year-old Shon HART was involved in a physical altercation at the Oshawa YWCA. While the police investigated the altercation; Shon made his way to different locations prior to returning to the YWCA, and eventually walking south on a bike path along the Oshawa Creek. Evidence located on the bike path, approximately 150 yards north of Mill Street, identified the area where Shon was fatally stabbed. Despite his injury, Shon ran southbound on the bike path to the apartment complex at the corner of Mill Street and Centre Street in Oshawa where he died. The Homicide Unit responded to the incident, and a Project Team was formed to investigate the murder of Mr. HART. The identity of the offender is unknown, and the case remains unsolved.
