  Christine JESSOP Homicide

On Wednesday October 3 1984, 9-year-old Christine JESSOP was reported missing to the York Regional Police. Christine lived in the Town of Queensville in York Region which is approximately 35 miles north of Toronto. Christine departed the school bus near her home, and disappeared shortly thereafter. Christine’s body was found on December 31, 1984, in a rural area near the Town of Sunderland in Durham Region. The identity of the offender is unknown, and the case remains unsolved.

This case is currently assigned to the Toronto Police Homicide Cold Case Unit.
