  Raymond DARBY Homicide

On Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at approximately 11: 17 a.m., officers responded to an address on Maine Street, in the Ritson Road North and Conlin Road East area of Oshawa, for an Assist Ambulance call.

A 72-year-old male was located deceased in a residence and the death was deemed a homicide. Investigators determined Raymond was violently attacked in his home and sustained multiple injuries.

Mr. Darby was a fixture in the neighbourhood and was last seen on Monday, June 17, 2013, walking up his driveway early in the evening. He had a number of health issues, but would be regularly seen walking on Maine Street with his cane.
