  Gregory GUTSOLE Homicide

On Sunday October 7, 2001, Durham Regional Police attended the Queen’s Hotel in Oshawa regarding 46-year-old Gregory GUTSOLE being stabbed. Mr. GUTSOLE was involved in a physical altercation with an unknown person which resulted in him being stabbed in the abdominal area. Mr. GUTSOLE was driven to the hospital by a friend. He was admitted and after surgery died. The Homicide Unit responded to the incident, and a Project Team was formed to investigate the murder of Mr. GUTSOLE. The identity of the offender is unknown, and the case remains unsolved.
