Members of the public are advised that the Police Record Check and Processing Centre, located at Regional Headquarters, 605 Rossland Road East, in Whitby, will be closed December 23, 26, 27, and 30, 2016 as well as January 2, 2017.
Members may still attend local divisions to apply for a police record check, however processing of any applications will not be commenced until the next business day.
We will be open to the public at Regional Headquarters on December 28 and 29, 2016 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Normal business operations will resume on January 3, 2017.
As of June 13 2015, the wait time for employment or placement purposes is two weeks. All other checks will also be two weeks.
Additional delays may occur if an applicant requires fingerprints or has a previous address outside of the Durham Region.
